Nicolas Jack Roeg (15 August 1928 – 23 November 2018) was an English movie director and cinematographer. He is best known for directing Performance (1970), Walkabout (1971), Don't Look Now (1973), The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976), Bad Timing (1980) and The Witches (1990).

Roeg was born on 15 August 1928 in London.[1] Roeg was married to Susan Stephen from 1957 until they divorced in 1977. He was married to actress Theresa Russell from 1982 until they divorced. He was married to Harriet Harper from 2004 until his death in 2018.

Roeg died on 23 November 2018 in London at the age of 90.[2]
