Nikolai Gritsenko

Nikolai Olimpievich Gritsenko (also known as Mykola Olimpiiovych Hrytsenko) (July 24, 1912 – December 8, 1979) was a Soviet actor. He worked in both theater and movies. He acted in more than 30 films between 1942 and 1978.[1]
Gritsenko was part of the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow. He was given the titles Honored Artist of the RSFSR and People’s Artist of the USSR, which are awards for important work in the arts.[2]
He died on December 8, 1979, after a conflict with other patients at the hospital where he was staying. He is buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.[3]
