Nikolai van der Heyde

Nikolai van der Heyde (23 January 1936 – 6 August 2020) was a Dutch movie director and screenwriter. He directed seven movies between 1966 and 1987. He was born in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.

His 1968 movie To Grab the Ring was entered into the 18th Berlin International Film Festival. Five years later, his movie Love Comes Quietly was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Heyde died on 6 August 2020 in Laren, Netherlands at the age of 84.[1]
