Noel Treacy

Noel Treacy (18 December 1951 – 2 February 2022) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He was a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway East constituency from 1982 to 2011.[1] He was also the Minister of State for European Affairs between 2004 until 2007 during the Bertie Ahern government. He was also the Minister of State at the Department of Finance between 1987 until 1989 and again from 1992 until 1993. Treacy was born in Ballinasloe, Ireland.

Treacy died in County Galway, Ireland on 2 February 2022, at the age of 70.[2]
