Nokia 1100 is a GSM mobile phone made by Nokia. It came out in 2003.
About 250 million phones were sold. This made it the most sold mobile phone in the world. It is also the most sold consumer electronic device ever.[1][2][3] This phone is not made anymore. This phone became very popular. This is even when many phones had color screens and cameras at that time. This phone was made for people in developing countries. It was also made for people who only needed simple things like calling, sending messages, and using an alarm.[4]
The Nokia 1100 is like older phones:
These older phones were also very popular. At that time, phones did not have cameras, polyphonic sounds, or color screens. The phone was designed in California at a Nokia design center.[5] The designer was Dimitar Mehandzhiyski. He is Bulgarian-American.[6] In 2005, Nokia sold its 1 billionth phone because of this model.[7]

- It only has monophonic ringtones.
- It has 36 built-in ringtones.
- You can make 7 ringtones by yourself.
- It has a classic Nokia keypad.
- You can call and end calls with one button.
- It has two scroll buttons (up and down).
- A Cingular version has AOL Instant Messenger.
- It works with Xpress-on covers.
- Covers come in many colors: light blue, orange, black, dark blue, yellow, red, green, pink.

- The keypad and front are dust-resistant.
- The sides are non-slip.[10][11]
- It can store 50 messages (inbox and drafts, and 25 sent).
- It has alarm, stopwatch, and calculator.

- Contacts can have different ringtones and icons.
- It has games: Snake II and Space Impact+.
- You can make your own ringtones.
