Nokia 6700 (also names is Nokia 6700 classic) is a mobile phone that was developed by Nokia's Corporation and announced in January 2009. The Nokia 6700 is based on Nokia 6300 but was the first release for Nokia Nseries and Eseries. The Nokia 6700 classic was released to the public on January 7, 2009.

The Nokia 6700 was first released by Nokia Corporation in Los Angeles County, California on December 4, 2008. It was based on the Nokia 6300 in Nokia Nseries and Eseries, like Nokia Tablet Congress until 2006. On December 23, 2008, Nokia announced the Nokia 6700, which was released on January 7, 2009.

In February 2009, the Nokia 6700 was showcased at the Mobile World Congress, and in March 2009, the unlock feature was added by TMM Technical on March 25, 2009.
