Nordland I is the seventh studio albumby the Swedish extreme metal band Bathory. It was released on 18 November 2002 through Black Mark Productions[3] The album is mainly viking metal, so the songs have lyrics about Norse mythology. The album was the first in a planned four-album long set. Quorthon only lived long enough to complete two albums in the set.
