Norman Podhoretz

Norman Podhoretz (/pɒdˈhɔːrɪts/; born January 16, 1930) is an American magazine editor, writer, and conservative political commentator. He was born in New York City. His views are seen as "paleo-neoconservative".[1] He is a writer for Commentary magazine. He was the publication's editor-in-chief from 1960 to 1995.[2][3]

Podhoretz studied at Columbia University and Clare College, Cambridge. He married Midge Decter in 1956. They have two childen. Decter died in 2022.[4]
