Nuri Şahin (born 5 September 1988) is a Turkish football player. He plays for Werder Bremen and Turkey national team.

Carrier[change | change source]

Borussia Dortmund[change | change source]

Şahin began his carrier 2005. He played his first match on 23rd June 2005 against Sigma Olmütz and became the youngest international player for Dortmund. On 6th August he became the youngest player in the Bundesliga at the match against VfL Wolfsburg.
On 26th November Şahin shot his first goal in the Bundesliga. He finished his first season with 23 appearances and one goal.

Real Madrid[change | change source]

In season 2010/11 Şahin changed to Real Madrid C.F..

Liverpool F.C.[change | change source]

Şahin got loaned to Liverpool F.C. after a year in Madrid.

Return to Borussia Dortmund[change | change source]

Sahin returned to Borussia Dortmund in 2013. Sahin could not build on his previous achievements in Dortmund, which is why he gradually lost his starting place in the team. As a crowd pleaser he left Dortmund in the summer of 2018 in the direction of Bremen.

Werder Bremen[change | change source]

Sahin became an important part of Werder Bremen.
