The Papua big-eyed tree frog (Nyctimystes papua) is a tree frog from Papua New Guinea. It lives in southeastern New Guinea, from Mount Albert-Edward in the west to Mount Dayman in the east. It lives 1200–2600 m above sea level.[1][2][3][4][5]

The adult male frog is about 4.6 to 5.1 cm long and the female about 7.0 cm long. The sampled frogs could be gray or brown with some yellow. This frog has less of a pattern on its lower eyelids than other frogs in Nyctimystes do.[5]
