The Office of the Prime Minister (PMO), in Ethiopia, is a cabinet level government organization. The job of this group is to watch over all government agencies, This incudes the Ministry of Peace which itself watches dozens of other government agencies. It has direct control of the Republican Guard, The Guard is a part of the Ministry of Defense but takes orders by the PMO.^[1]
