Ojārs Ēriks Kalniņš
Ojārs Ēriks Kalniņš (22 October 1949 – 14 October 2021) was a Latvian politician. He was a member of the Saeima from 2010 until his death in 2021. He was in charge of the Latvian Institute from 1999 until 2010. He also was the Ambassador to the United States from 1993 until 1999. Kalniņš was born in Munich, Germany.
Kalniņš died on 14 October 2021 in Riga, Latvia one week before his 72nd birthday.[1]
