The Pakistan men's cricket team (Urdu: پاکستان کرکٹ ٹیم), nicknamed the Green Shirts or the Shaheens (Eagles), has been active since 1948. The team is governed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pakistan play in all forms of international cricket: Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I).[1]

Pakistan played their first Test match in October 1952. It was against India at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. India won by an innings and 70 runs.[2]

Pakistan won the 1992 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup under the captaincy of Imran Khan, and were runners-up in the 1999 edition.[source?]
