Paul Winchell

Paul Winchell (born Paul Wilchinsky; December 21, 1922 – June 24, 2005) was an American actor, comedian, humanitarian, inventor and ventriloquist. He was born on December 21, 1922 in New York City. From 1950 to 1954, he hosted The Paul Winchell Show. From 1965–1968, Winchell hosted the children's television series Winchell-Mahoney Time. In animation, he was the original voice of Tigger, Dick Dastardly, Gargamel and other characters.

He had three children; including actress April Winchell.

Winchell died on June 24, 2005 in Los Angeles, aged 82.[1]
