Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpeðɾo ˈsaɲʧeθ ˈpeɾeθ kasteˈxon], born 29 Febuary 1972) is a Spanish politician who is the 104th and current Prime Minister of Spain since 2 June 2018. He is the leader (Secretary-General) of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). He first took the post from 2014 to October 2016. Because of tensions in the party, he resigned from the post and was replaced by a caretaker committee but then was restored in 2017.

In the 2016 general election, he was defeated by the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy. The party of Mariano Rajoy was believed to have had many corruption scandals. Because of this, a lot of people in the Spanish congress voted to remove him from the presidency on 1 June 2018 and where Rajoy was eventually ousted the next day. Immediately after Rajoy's ousting, Sánchez was immediately declared the next prime minister. He later had the most votes on the elections of April 2019, but he could not find enough allies to form goverment, so the elections were repeated on November 2019 and then he formed a government with the party Unidas Podemos. On July 2023, there were other elections and he was able to form a government on November.

In November 2022, he became President of the Socialist International.

In May 2023, Sánchez called for a snap election, which saw the PSOE hold all of its seats; despite finishing second behind the People's Party, Sánchez was able to again form a coalition government, and was appointed to a third term as prime minister on 17 November 2023.

He has been linked with the ongoing developments of a corruption scandal; his wife Begoña Gómez Fernández having allegedly influenced the Government to obtain public funds on behalf of her clients.
