Perpendicular bisector
Appearance
A perpendicular bisector is a line, segment, or ray which is perpendicular to a segment and bisects a segment.[1] There are four right angles formed by an intersection in a perpendicular bisector.[1] This leads to the length of a divided segment being equal to the sum of its parts.[1] A perpendicular bisector can also create a midpoint in a segment.[1] This can also lead some points to be equivalent to each other.[1]
