Peter David Schiff (/ʃɪf/; born March 23, 1963) is an American stock broker, financial commentator, and radio personality. He is CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Inc. Schiff is the principal host of The Peter Schiff Show podcast.[2]

In 2010, Schiff ran in the Republican primary for the United States Senate seat in Connecticut, but he lost to Linda McMahon and came in third.Schiff began his career as a stockbroker at a Shearson Lehman Brothers brokerage in the early 1990s.
