Phil May (born Philip Arthur Dennis Kattner, 9 November 1944 – 15 May 2020)[1][2] was an English singer-songwriter and musician. He became known in the 1960s as the lead singer of Pretty Things. He was one of the band's main lyricists. He was the primary lyricist for the album S.F. Sorrow.

May died on 15 May 2020, in a hospital in King's Lynn from hip surgery-related problems, aged 75.[3]
