Philip Baker Hall (born September 10, 1931) is an American actor. He starred in Paul Thomas Anderson's movies, Hard Eight, Boogie Nights and Magnolia. Other movies included Air Force One, The Truman Show, Bruce Almighty, Rush Hour and The Amityville Horror.

Hall was born in Toledo, Ohio.[1] He studied at the University of Toledo.[2] He was married twice, both ended in divorce. Hall had two children.
