Philippe Mario Aghion FBA (fr; born 1956) is a French economist. He is a professor at the Collège de France, at INSEAD, at the London School of Economics,[1] and at the Paris School of Economics.[2]

From 2002 to 2015, he was an economics professor at Harvard University.[3]

In 2025, he shared half of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Peter Howitt for their works in creative destruction.[4]
