Phou-oibi, the rice goddess is a 2013 Meitei language ballad opera. It was performed by the Laihui Ensemble of Manipur. It was as a part of "Tapestry Sacred Music 2013", held at an esplanade in Singapore.[1][2][3] It is based on the story of Phouoibi, the goddess of bounty in Meitei mythology and religion. It was composed and directed by Mayanglambam Mangangsana.[1]
