Picton is a suburb of Bunbury, located in the South West region of Western Australia. It is part of the City of Bunbury local government area.
The suburb is crossed from east to west by both the South Western Highway and the South Western Railway, making it a key transport corridor in the area.[1][2] Picton is situated on the traditional lands of the Wardandi people of the Noongar nation.[3][4][5]
Picton contains several heritage-listed sites, like St Mark's Anglican Church, Picton Inn Hotel, and Forrest Homestead.[6] These sites reflect Picton's early European settlement and historical significance in the Bunbury region.[7][8]
