Pirates is a 1986 French-Tunisian adventure comedy movie directed by Roman Polanski and starring Walter Matthau, Charlotte Lewis, Roy Kinnear, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Damien Thomas, Olu Jacobs, Ferdy Mayne. It was distributed by Cannon Films and was a box office bomb. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1987.
