Pleasantville (movie)

Pleasantville is a 1998 American teen fantasy comedy-drama movie directed by first time director Gary Ross and starring Tobey Maguire, Jeff Daniels, Joan Allen, William H. Macy, J. T. Walsh, Reese Witherspoon, Don Knotts. It was distributed by New Line Cinema and was nominated for 3 Academy Awards in 1999. It was a box office failure.
