Plochingen is a town in Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is on the river Neckar. About 14,000 people live there. Plochingen is part of the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region. The Hundertwasserhaus is in Plochingen. Together with the communities of Altbach, Deizisau and Plochingen belongs to the Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Plochingen.
