Qaem Shahr audio speaker iconpronunciation  (Persian: قائم‌شهر; also known as Qā’em Shahr) is a city in Iran. It is the capital of Qaem Shahr County in the Mazandaran Province. The city had a population of 204,953 people in 2016.[1]

Before the Iranian revolution, the city was known as Shāhi (or Ŝâhi).
