RAF Down Ampney was a Royal Air Force station. It was near Cricklade, Gloucestershire, England. Down Ampney was built in February 1944 and it was closed down in February 1947. It was used during World War II.
The airfield was part of a group of three airfields. The other two were RAF Broadwell and RAF Blakehill Farm. The job of these three airfields was to transport (move) things by air.
