Early life and education

Merchant was born on October 16 1994, in Mumbai, India. Se completed her schooling at the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai and later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at New York University. She is the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, and Shaila Viren Merchant.[7][8]
