Randolph County, Alabama

Randolph County is a county on the central eastern border of the U.S. state of Alabama.[1] As of the 2010 census, the population was 22,913.[2] The county seat is Wedowee.[1][3] The name is in honor of John Randolph, a member of the United States Senate from Virginia.[1]

Randolph County was founded on December 18, 1832.
