Ranjit Bhatia

Ranjit Bhatia OBE (c. 1936 – 9 February 2014) was an Indian athlete. He ran in the marathon and 5000 meters events at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.[1][2]

Bhatia studied at the Lawrence School, Sanawar.[3] He was then a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University, matriculating at Jesus College in 1957.[4] He retired as Reader in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Bhatia died on 9 February 2014 at the age of 77.
