The New Holland frog, eastern snipping frog or wide-mouthed frog (Ranoidea novaehollandiae) is a tree frog from Australia. It lives in Queensland on Cape York and in New South Wales.[1][2]

This frog does not live in forests or high in mountains. It lays eggs in pools where the water does not move quickly, about 1000 at a time.[2]
