Rashid Haider (15 July 1941 – 13 October 2020) was a Bangladeshi writer. His novels include Khancay (1975), Nashta Josnay Ekon Aranya (1982), Sadh Ahlad (1985), Andha Kathamala (1987), Asamabriksha (1987) and Mabuhai (1988). He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2014 by the government of Bangladesh. He was born in Pabna.

In February 2020, Haider had a stroke. He died later that year, on 13 October, at the age of 79.[1]
