Readjuster Party

The Readjuster Party was a reformist political party from the state of Virginia. It was responsible for several reforms during the late Nineteenth Century such as increased taxes on corporations, reduced tax rates for farmers, the establishment of mechanics’ liens and labor unions, and improved public education.
