Rebecca Adlington

Rebecca "Becky" Adlington, OBE (born 17 February 1989) is a retired English freestyle swimmer. She won two gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 400 m and 800 m. She won bronze medals in the women's 400 m and 800 m freestyle events in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Adlington retired from all competitive swimming on 5 February 2013.[1]

Adlington was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. She went to The Brunts School there.[2]

In 2013 she was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.
