Rejuvenation

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rejuvenation is the reversal of ageing.[1]

Approach[change | change source]

Ageing is the accumulation of cellular and molecular damage on the body. If this damage can be repaired, it is rejuvenation.

The SENS Research Foundation founded by Aubrey de Grey classified seven types of damages that lead to ageing.[2] The organization also proposed strategies for repairing these (Strategies for engineered negligible senescence).[3]
