Riverdale is an American teen drama television series. The series is based on Archie Comics. This shows airs on The CW but can also be watched on Netflix.

In the first season, the plotline is around who killed Jason Blossom, Cheryl Blossom's twin brother. In the second season, the plotline is about who the mysterious black hood is, killing 'sinners'. Hiram Lodge is released from prison, one of the most manipulative people in Riverdale. In the third season, which is still airing, the plotline is about getting Archie Andrews out of Juvenile Detention and playing the horrifying game, Gryphons and Gargoyles.

Riverdale cast members are KJ Apa as the main character, Archie Andrews; Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones. The cast also features Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Charles Melton as Reginald "Reggie" Mantle in season 2 and 3 but Ross Butler in season 1, Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz and Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy. Other characters in the series include the parents of the main characters: Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Mädchen Amick as Alice Cooper, Marisol Nichols and Mark Consuelos as Hermione and Hiram Lodge, and Skeet Ulrich as FP Jones.
