Robert Thomas Bigelow (born May 12, 1944) is an American businessman. He owns the hotel chain Budget Suites of America and is the founder of Bigelow Aerospace. Bigelow Aerospace has launched 2 experimental space modules, Genesis I and Genesis II, and has plans to launch full-fledged modules that will be used as orbital hotels (see Bigelow Commercial Space Station), research laboratories and factories.[1]
Bigelow has provided financial support for investigations of UFOs and parapsychological topics.[2]
