Robert Garcia

Robert "Bob" Garcia (January 9, 1933 – January 25, 2017) was an American politician. He was a member of the Democratic Party. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1978 to 1990. Before this, he served in the New York State Assembly and the New York State Senate.

Garcia was born in Bronx, New York. His parents were from Puerto Rico. He had three children.

Garcia died from an infection due to his emphysema on January 25, 2017 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was 84.[1]
