Rocco Prestia

Francis Rocco Prestia Jr. (March 7, 1951 – September 29, 2020) was an American jazz bassist. He was born in Sonora, California. He was best known for his work with the funk band Tower of Power.[1] He was with the band from the 1970s until the early 2000s when he left because of his health.

In December 2014, Prestia had a liver transplant.[2] He died on September 29, 2020 from liver disease, aged 69.[3]
