Roger W. H. Sargent

Prof. Roger Sargent

Roger William Herbert Sargent PhD, DSc(Eng), D.hc(INPL, Nancy), ACGI, Hon FCGI, FIChemE FIMA FREng[1] FSA (14 October 1926 – 11 September 2018) was a British chemical engineer. He was the Courtaulds Professor of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London[2] and "the father" of the discipline of Process Systems Engineering. He was born in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

Sargent died on 11 September 2018 in London at the age of 91.[3]
