Ruben Michael Mendoza (June 2, 1931 – April 11, 2010) was an American soccer player. He played as a forward for teams in St. Louis during the 1950s and 1960s. He was capped four times by the United States, and was part of their team at the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics.[1]
Mendoza died on April 11, 2010, at Barnes–Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. His family said he had been fighting Alzheimer's disease, diabetes and congestive heart failure.[2]
