SK Vorwärts Steyr is an an Austrian association football club from Steyr, Upper Austria. The club was founded on April 14th, 1919. He is one of the oldest football clubs in Upper Austria. 1988 till 1996 they played in the Bundesliga. In 1999 the club went bankrupt and started again in lower leagues in 2001. In 2018 they were promoted to the Austrian Second League.
