From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski (born June 3, 1993) is an American theoretical physicist who studies high-energy physics.[1] Theoretical physicists conduct research and develop mathematics for a wide variety of theories and concepts. Pasterski also earned a PhD in quantum mechanics and studied theoretical physics.[1] She is the founder and principal investigator of the Celestial Holography Initiative at Perimeter Institute. Pasterski later graduated from Harvard and MIT with a 5.00 GPA.[1] She was also offered jobs by Jeff Bezos and NASA.[2] The aviation magazine Midwest Flyer dubbed her the “future of aviation”.[1] She has received ten impressive awards, including the MIT Orloff Scholarship award.[1]

Pasterski made the Forbes 30 Under 30 Science list.[3] She also enrolled in MIT at the age of 16.[1][3] She was also cited by Stephen Hawking in “Soft Hair on Black Holes”.[1][3] Pasterski wrote a paper on asymptotic symmetries and electromagnetic memory that has been added to Harvard’s graduate school curriculum.[3] As a child, she was interested in aerospace. She started flight lessons at age 9 and flew solo in her Cessna at age 14.[1][4] Pasterski also became the youngest person in the US to build an aircraft and fly it solo at 16.[1][4]
