Sahara Khatun

Sahara Khatun (1 March 1943 – 9 July 2020) was a Bangladeshi politician. She was a member of the Awami League. She was born in Dhaka.

In 2009, she was elected a member of the Jatiya Sangsad. From 2009 to 2012, she was Minister of Home Affairs. From 2012 to 2013, she was Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.

Khatun died on 9 July 2020 at a Bangkok hospital from a short-illness, aged 77.[1]
