Saint-Gérand-de-Vaux is a commune. It is found in the Allier department in the center of France.
History
[change | change source]Known as Sancti Giranni de Vallius in 1280, Sainct Juliain de Vaux in 1409, parish of Sancto Juliano in Vallibus in 1240, the commune bore, during the revolutionary period of the National Convention (1792-1795), the name of Mont-Libre.[1][2]
