Sankarapuram taluk
Sankarapuram is a taluk of Viluppuram district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Sankarapuram town is a headquarters for this taluk. There are presently 188 villages in sankarapuram taluk. Before the bifurcation of Chinnasalem taluk from this taluk and Kallakurichi taluk,[1] nearly 350 villages were under its control].
