Santander (English: /sɑːntɑːnˈdɛər/; Spanish: [santanˈder]) is a city on the north coast of Spain. It is the capital of the autonomous community of Cantabria. As of 2013, 178,465 people lived there.

Santander has an oceanic climate (Cfb in the Koeppen climate classification).
