Sarah Puntigam (born 13 October 1992) is an Austrian footballer. She plays as a midfielder for French Division 1 Féminine club Montpellier and the Austria national team.[2]

She started her career with USV Gnas, then she went on to DFC LUV Graz. The next steps were Bayern Munich II,Bayern Munich, SC Kriens and SC Freiburg in Germany. 2018 she went on to Montpellier in France.

International career[change | change source]

Puntigam made her international debut on 4 March 2009 in a 2–1 win against Wales. She scored her first two goals with Austria in a 6–0 win against Faroe Islands on 3 March 2010. With 114 matches she is the player with the most caps in Austria.[3]
