Satsuki Katayama (born Tomonaga; 9 May 1959) is a Japanese politician who has been the Minister of Finance since 2025 during the Sanae Takaichi government.[1] She is the first female Finance Minister of the country.[1] She has also been a member of the House of Councillors since 2010. She is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). She represented the Shizuoka 7th district in the House of Representatives for one term from 2005 until 2009.[2]
