Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan (also known as Sayyid Maxamed Cabdulle Xasan) was the leader of the successor state of the Dhulbahante garaadship. [1] Sayyid started the Dervish movement in Somalia and led the Khatumo region from 1896 until 1920.
